Hey Guys,
Its been a while but I am gonna do a Forensic Heroes III review for you guys :')
Hands down, the original cast is the best ! The new cast was disappointing. Oh I miss Bobby, Yoyo and Frankie so much :'(

Honestly, I prefer the previous two compared to this sequel. Why ? I think it has a lot to do with the chemistry of the cast. I really do not the feel any interactions between the Police and Forensics in FHIII.They seem disconnected and just don't share any chemistry. In FHII, Yoyo and even Charmaine shared good connection with Bobby, they made such a good team. But in this case, Wayne and Kate was so .. awkward. They barely interacted, and it really just seemed like the forensics team did all the work for the police.

BUT I was surprised how well Maggie pulled off this role :) My fav role that I have watched from her so far. I thought no one could ever replace Frankie but I was wrong, she did great as a pathologist :)

Honestly, Wayne wasn't bad but the scriptwriter failed to make his character alive, in other words he was boring LOL AND, he doesn't give off a professional aura ! Maybe because he is short ? I reckon, Wayne doesn't suit these type of roles. I prefer him in costume dramas where his character is quirky and hateful like in Devil's Disciples !! HE was so hilarious and awesome ! My fav role from him. Unfortunately, TVB stopped giving those roles ever since he became 'popular'.

Did anyone think making Kate the Senior Inspector and Ron the cop weird ? Kate is way too young for that rank, and her acting needs to improve if she wants to pull it off. But her character was fun and interesting, but I didn't think much of her. There wasn't enough emphasis on Ron at all, he had minimal scenes so he was more of a backdrop as Kate's lover. I didn't feel any chemistry between Ron and Kate so I was uninterested in their relationship :/

On the other hand, I did like Edwin and Aimee as a couple. They were so cute and made the show alive coz the rest of the characters was so boring to watch. They both give really good auras as forensics, they looked so professional !! I also think Aimee looked really pretty in here! BUT WHY did she got killed off is a mystery to me ! Their was no reason to kill her off. In my theory, I think she got killed off because they wanted to make the killers seem more evil. ><"

Nancy wasn't the fav in the series coz she is .. hateful but her performance was excellent. Nancy did such a good job in terms of acting ! I never did liked her, but when she got killed I started to pity her so much and i was so sad that she died !! So i dunno, maybe I do like her?


The cases here are alright, I mean the standards of the cases hasn't really improved LOL
BUT I think the cases in here was a tad bad just because the first and last case was so disappointing. Those are the most important cases, yet it failed to capture me. Actually, the last case had a good concept.. involving the death of Nancy and all but they end it so abruptly and easily !! It was a horrible ending imo. I wish they could've expanded that case somehow to make it more suspenseful. That car crash at the end was such a copy cat to the Charmaine and Kevin car crash in FHII ! I seriously don't care if they plagiarize some bits of American crime shows.. TVB needs to improve with the cases.

My favorite case though is definitely the Cilla case ! I thought Cilla was so so interesting and mysterious and the cases that evolved around her was great too !

Throughout the series, it was obvious that they tried to make it funny.. and it was not. The jokes and humor was so lame.. LOL

The series also dragged sometimes especially with Nancy and Wayne's relationship ! I knew it was gonna be draggy ! That kinda wrecked the drama for me. AND I thought Wayne and Maggie relationship was so rushed and sudden ! AND, what is with the Ruco and Maggie ?! They were a cute couple but I honestly skipped them all the time AND I didn't see the point of them pairing when Maggie didn't even love him. Their breakup was the first breakup that neither one was sad !!

Anyway, I am currently watching When Heavens Burns atm. It is a tad boring, and I have no idea if I would continue or not.
I am so excited to watch Bottled Passion though ! I love Romance dramas and it has been a long time since TVB has released one ! My fav is 'The Seventh Day' which also features Niki so I hope I would like this one as well :)))
