3:51 AM | 0 comments Hey Guys, I felt like posting this today (: On the 22/11/2009 the cast of BTROC wore their costumes and attended the promotional event of the series. It was held in a Buddhist Hall and the cast prayed for blessings. At first Charmaine and Kevin were distant to each other, but they start chatting during the mantra chant. I guess the most amusing part was that right after the event some fans noticed that there was police issuing parking tickets and informed Kevin. It was an amusing sight with Kevin dashing downstairs to drive his car away in costume. heheh :P Charmaine was lost at which part they were chanting and so aked Kevin for help (: Kevin also admitted that he was lost at the mantra part therefore, he studied it with Charmaine a little (: Charmaine Sheh denies disliking Prince Fung (Raymond Lam) More Pictures here; http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=871288239 Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam , Toby Leung and the rest of the cast to TVB new series Colorful World of Sister Fa attended the blessing ceremony. In the series, Charmaine plays a girl with a mental age of 10, and especially got a foolish Bob haircut for the role. She also visited the school for the mentally challenged and learned from the children there. Every time Charmaine films a series, she's always rumored with the male lead, but before when she worked with Raymond in The Drive of Life, there were no rumors. Raymond laughed: "Before when I was filming with her, she was rumored with other people, I really have to reflect a little, perhaps I am not charming enough. There should be some rumors for this series!" Charmaine explained that not having any rumors with Raymond is the media's issue: "No rumors then that's good! (Are you afraid of rumors that you dislike him?) Why would I dislike Prince Fung! We have collaborated several times, known each other for a long time. An enjoyable collaboration is good." Charmaine expressed that there is a challenge portraying this role because she has to be a girl with a mental age of 10 and develop a relationship with Raymond. She said: "My role is the female version of Ah Wong, but Roger Kwok's role already left a deep impression on viewers. I'm already 30+ years old, trying to portray a mental age of 10 girl, making it convincing is the most challenging. I went to visit the mentally challenged schools and learned the children lifestyles there." Disappointed in low ratings Raymond has always been supported as the candidate for the TV King title this year, but unfortunately his new series Growing Through Life is not getting good ratings, he frankly said that he is a bit disappointed: "Somewhat disappointed, we filmed the series for 5 months and I had to prepare for my concert in between, it was pretty difficult during filming. I feel the ratings were affected by the unfamiliar Mainland faces coupled with the fact that the series already finished broadcasting in Mainland. (Affect your chances of becoming TV King?) Don't stir it up so fast! Don't stir it on me! Every year, I really don't know what to say, I just want to focus on doing my part. I am also most happy that I was able to learn from Damien Lau and improve my acting. (Don't want to mention TV King because afraid of gossips or to attract criticisms due to your popularity?) It is boring, afraid to say too much." No mood to celebrate Can't Buy Me Love although received high ratings, Charmaine has no mood to celebrate due to the Philippines hostage incident. Also the national mourning in the Philippines is not getting anywhere. She hopes that Can't will bring happiness to viewers and relax a bit. Also, Wayne Lai accepted Eileen Cha's interview and when asked about Can't's good ratings, he expressed that it's bringing pressure to the haven't been broadcast anniversary series No Regrets.
