Hey Guys,this is gonna be a random post LOL
I'm personally anticipating watching 'Hippocratic Crush' for many reasons. Firstly I haven't seen a medical based drama for a very long time from TVB, the cast is too awesome AND I have a mini-crush on Benjamin Yeun. LOL
Yeah.. I am watching Love Til Us Lie and he is absolutely my fav character in there, and not to mention he looks quite cute and can actually act HAHA.
We all know Mr Hong Kong contest winners rarely produce any good actors.
Seeing his previous role, I thought he was terrible in acting but I guess that was because of his character before.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the romance storyline in here is gonna somehow drag the series, and I am 100% certain cuz you can already tell by the series name. Although is it Hippocratic crush or 36 hours on call ? :/
BUT whatevs, hopefully it is good. I actually haven't seen Kenneth Ma for so long onscreen, wow..

Few years back, if Kevin said his real personality is like L.A Law than I wouldn't have believed him because he used to be so stiff, awkward and 'serious' looking whenever he was in the press or interviews etc.. but recently, he is showing his playful side now. I guess his more confident now to show his true self in front of the media. :)

This new Mainland drama does seem to focus more on the females than males. Doesn't seem like Kevin got much scenes O_O idunoo..

Kevin Cheng’s New Drama, “Mystery in the Palace” Airs on Hunan TV

New mainland drama, Mystery in the Palace <深宫谍影> starring Kevin Cheng (郑嘉颖), Gan Tingting (甘婷婷), Michelle Yim (米雪), and Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) will be broadcast on Hunan TV in mainland China on February 8, 2012. A press conference to promote Mystery in the Palace was held in Beijing yesterday, with the attendance of Kevin Cheng, Gan Tingting, Catherine Hung (洪欣), and her husband, Zhang Danfeng (张丹峰).

Since the airing of Bu Bu Jing Xin <步步惊心> and Mystery in the Palace were only months apart, it was inevitable that audiences will compare the two mainland dramas. Regarding this, “Eighth Prince” Kevin Cheng clarified, “The two dramas are different in style. There is no time travel theme in Mystery in the Palace, which employs a suspenseful narrative instead. My character only loves one person, unlike ‘Eighth Prince’ who was surrounded by multiple women!”

In Mystery in the Palace, Kevin will portray Prince Ge Tai, a forthright character that is skilled as a scholar and martial artist. Meeting Han Xiang (Gan Tingting) by chance and falling in love with her, Ge Tai will take advantage of playing chess with Emperor Kangxi (Ni Qimin) in order to improve his romantic chances with Han Xiang. Get Tai vows to help Han Xiang find out the murderer responsible for her mother’s death. Mystery in the Palace will add a new spin upon dramas that focus on family love, friendship, and love.

Asked whether Kevin will be filming the modern version of Bu Bu Jing Xin 2 in the second half of 2012, he replied, “Yes, the current script is not finished yet. I do not know what my role will be, but I do hope that my role will change. If it only involved changing the costumes, without changing the plot/ characterization, then there is no greater meaning achieved in the second installment.”

In Bu Bu Jing Xin, Kevin portrayed a brooding character. Asked about his real life personality, Kevin replied, “My real life personality is similar to my ‘Law Ba’ character in Ghetto Justice <怒火街头>. I am quite playful, especially when I am around my friends. In the company of my girlfriends, perhaps I exhibit a shadow of my ‘Eighth Prince’ character.”

Allegedly, Kevin’s filming fee increased to $250,000 Yuan per episode. Asked whether he will consider becoming a homeowner in mainland China, Kevin stated, “I admit that my fee is very satisfactory, but it is not as high as reported. I do not want everyone to think that I was looting (laughs)! Since I have been filming more frequently in mainland, I have considered purchasing a house. Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai are good choices, but I do not have time to go house hunting yet!”

Last year, Kevin harvested great success in both Hong Kong and mainland China, earning the nickname of “Gold Magnet King.” Regarding this, Kevin commented, “Indeed, I earned a lot more money last year than ever before! I received many job opportunities as well, but there were no slots to accept all of them. I do not think comparisons should be made; comparing one person with another is harmful. If we were to compare monetary assets, then none of us can compare to Li Ka Shing (李嘉诚)! As long as we live happily, that’s enough. Next, I will focus intently on filming. If I were to win awards, of course I will be happy. Even without awards, I will still try my best!”

Asked what type of women he preferred in real life and whether he had plans to start a family, Kevin responded, “There are differences between what is portrayed in dramas and reality. In real life, I do not like strong-headed women, which would lend to troubles. I would like to get married and start a family. My family has always urged me to do so, to the point that they do not want to remind me anymore! It all depends on fate, but I do not want any love rumors!”

Kevin Cheng exposes Bosco Wong has low alcohol tolerance

Kevin Cheng and Annie Liu attended SASA's perfume event. Currently busy shooting in Mainland, Kevin made a special trip back to HK to take part in this event. He reveals the first time he ever gave perfume as a gift was to his girlfriend. Although he is currently single, he did not dare to look directly at the sexily dressed Annie, who stood besides him. It was only until he was asked to spray the perfume on Annie that Kevin politely sprayed lightly on her wrist.

It has only been a day since Kevin's back in HK, but he reveals he will go straight back to TVB to shoot a MV after the event. Asked if the reason why he's working so hard is because he wants to save enough money to get a wife? Kevin laughed: "Of many reasons! Good to have some savings, since I am still able to physically handle all the work!" As for his buddy, Bosco Wong, who was spotted at a night club the other night with girls surrounding him, Kevin said: "So happy? (He was drunk!) I've seen him drunk before, he's tolerance has improved, but after having a few drinks, he'll be very... (Will you train your buddy?) I have no time, also my tolerance is not so great either because it has been a long period since I've drank. Even if I'm working in Mainland now, I try my best to avoid social gatherings. If I have time, I would sleep!"

This year Annie will be spending Valentine's Day alone. She frankly said she does not feel lonely at all because she'll get to spend the day at work. She also expressed that in the past, she hated receiving chocolates on Valentine's Day, she said: "I can't eat it all, so sweet. One piece is already enough. It has been about 10 years since I've dated, so don't call me Goddess anymore. I'm fear in the end, I'll become a Demon instead. I want to get marry too!" She claimed she isn't someone with many pursuers as the public sees her.

Nothing to say about it, if you want than you can think Kevin definitely is lying about not meeting up with Charmaine HAHA.

Filming mainland drama Hero <英雄> in Hengdian, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) especially returned to Hong Kong to film a commercial for an anti-hair loss product. Since he won the Best Actor Award for the second time, did his fees double? Kevin said, “Let’s not talk about how much the fees were! Anyhow, I am very pleased with renumeration. The advertisers said that it was a great product.”

Earlier, there were rumors that Kevin had reconciled his relationship with Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼). It turned out that the pair were both filming in Hengdian for different dramas at this time. Due to the filming proximity, did this yield additional opportunities for them to reconcile their relationship? Kevin laughed, “Although we are only separated by a block, we did not see each other. I celebrated the Lunar New Year with the production crew.”

After filming the hair-loss commercial in Hong Kong, Kevin will return to mainland China to resume filming Hero. Aside from Hero, Kevin will be filming two mainland dramas set in the early Pre-Modern period.

Such a sad day for me today :'( Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young were my fav couple.. but they broke up #sigh or not.. not really confirmed yet

But anyway, as you guys know I have been watching 'Til Love Do Us Lie' and I am enjoying it very much although I do think its heading to the wrong direction.

So I realised there was a new, unfamiliar girl who stars as 'June' in the drama and is the onscreen couple with Benjamin Yuen in the drama. And she has a pretty big role too so I thought that was a bit strange. Turns out she is a former model AND is Raymond Lam's cousin ! (no wonder why)
I think the story was that she attended Raymond sister's wedding, and the reporters photographed her and thought she was heavily praised for her beauty and resembled some people. And so they all told Raymond to introduce her to TVB and yeah.. she naturally signed a TVB contract and hence this is her first modern drama.

She is alright I guess, her acting isn't too bad but it can be really awkward sometimes LOL She is improving :) Sitcoms are the best way to practice acting for newbies haha
In terms of her beauty.. she isn't as pretty compared to many artists.

Myolie Wu a lucky Dragon year, next goal is Film Queen

Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu were crowned TV King and Queen last year. Since then, their popularity has been on the rise, their workload had a major increase and they've been accepting jobs nonstop. The other day, this pair came out together doing a dragon dance downtown. During the time, the playful Kevin surrounded him and Myolie with the Dragon head, hoping for good luck and another smooth year.

As for the reveal of last year, Myolie had been quite fortunate, she said: "Because I blessed with good scripts and co-stars. Many times, good scripts and partners, we cannot choose ourselves. Just like when the series will broadcast, the genre of the series, if audience likes it or not, so we will have to put in our best effect no matter what and when there are good results, then its like a bonus. I'm very happy to have experienced a fat year (prosperous)." Myolie reveals she would help her mother make turnip cake when she was young, but this year she won't be in HK to spend the new years, so she'll take the turnip cakes with her to prevent homesickness.

Now that Myolie is the TV Queen, she frankly said there are many Mainland scripts to choose from, when asked what her next goal is, does she want to break into the Mainland market? She smiled and nodded: "Yup, but I want to balance, since if Triumph in the Skies II starts in May, then I want to take advantage of this period to go shoot Mainland series Happy Ever After (金玉滿堂) first!"

Developing well in the TV series realm, what about the music scene? Also, remember she did participate in Johnnie To's production last year and was fortunate enough to charge out of HK and step on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, interacting with several big movie stars, so it's considered a good start for her. However, Myolie frankly said she's still new in the film scene, so she will try to immerse herself more into the field when she has time. Her next goal is to reaching for the Film Queen title. She said: "Although this is a very distant goal, but as an artist, I should have goals. Of course, I hope one day I can give people a sense of certainty! So, I will continue to work hard."

As for Kevin, he heard how ambitious Myolie was, aside from giving her encouragement, he did not forget to tease her. He joked and said at that time she will have to really look after him, making Myolie speechless and didn't know how to respond. The scene was quite funny! Last year, Kevin became popular in Mainland after his performance in Startling by Each Step and since he got the TV King award as well, he was instantly the King of Gold Digging within TVB. As for his outlook for the Dragon year, Kevin laughed: "I want to keep developing in the Mainland and HK market, also I didn't get a raise, but indeed I did get a lot more jobs, haven't stopped yet. Very happy. (How will you celebrate the new year?) Will be starting a new series in Mainland. Although I''m spending the new year at work, I'm used to it, so it's not a problem!"

Happy Chinese New Year ! HAHA, I am literally posting this at 12:09am at the moment :) My family isn't going crazy about it so right now they are all sleeping so I decided to post real quick :) LOL,
OMGAHHH ! Can't believe Charmaine can't film War and Beauty 2 !! I know this sounds really selfish, but I hope they can delay it further because it would be an awesome cast if Charmaine is in it ! As Charmaine said, I think Ada and her would create really good chemistry.

Although, gotta say.. how many times does Moses need to collaborate with Charmaine ? They are always filming together. Give Kevin a chance man, Charvin !! LOL

Anyway, '4 In Love' is airing now because it is to anticipate Valentine's day. I think this series focus on 4 couples. I am still a bit iffy about Tracey Yip.. I really despise her acting.. :$
Looking at the promo clips.. it doesn't seem as interesting.. Looks like alot of cheap comedy.

Charmaine Sheh sighs its a pity she can't be in 'War and Beauty 2'

Charmaine Sheh feels pity that she was unable to make her schedule workable to fit with the shooting of TVB grand production War and Beauty 2 (WAB2). Since she decided to shoot WAB2, the public anticipated to see the original cast in the sequel, but the current situation where Bowie Lam left TVB, Gigi Lai retired from showbiz and now Charmaine's schedule conflict, it is difficult to get the original cast back. The current confirmed cast includes Sheren Tang, Ada Choi, Christine Ng, Astrid Chan and Moses Chan. Charmaine sighed: "I should have a lot of sparks with Ada (Choi), but now with the schedule conflicts, I can't shoot it, so can only give up."

Yesterday Charmaine attended producer Jonathan Chik's new series 4 In Love (Let It Be Love) promotional event. She reveals the Mainland drama Legend of Empire Yuan Founder that she is currently shooting, the progress has been delayed, so shooting is expected to complete last March, but WAB2 starts in January. There really is no other choice, but to turn down the opportunity. She said she really wanted to shoot WAB2, initially the schedule only conflicted by 2 weeks, so she thought it could accommodate, but she is helpless that ultimately she's unable to participate. She said: "I really hoped to collaborate with Ada, should have a lot of sparks, such a pity."

For the 4 In Love promotion, Charmaine still took time off her schedule to fly back and take part in the event. Over the CNY holiday, she will be spending it in Mainland because on the first and second day, she be attending a real estate event in Mainland. On the third day, she will be heading back to Hengdian to continue shooting, so she will only be able to attend this promotion.

As for Moses, he has been attending events repeatedly and going to have a fat year. Although his exact income is not known yet, it is estimated that his revenue is over 8 figures, just on advertisements. Moses said: "When I open up the magazine, after flipping through a few pages, I see myself. I feel sorry, if clients know that i have that many, they may not ask me to be in their endorsements anymore." As for his major increase in workload, Moses felt lucky. When asked if he feels his girlfriend Aimee Chan brought him lucky? He said without hiding that he gave his girlfriend flowers to express his gratefulness. He directly said his girlfriend is a good girl and would be a good marriage partner. Moses reveals over the CNY holiday, he will be going to out everywhere with Aimee to send new year greetings to his seniors, but before CNY, he was unwilling to reveal if he's attending the reunion dinner. He just laughed and said he doesn't need his girlfriend to help him clean the house because his mom has been busy with that.

In 4 In Love, Moses plays a home boy that works in an electronics stop in Mong Kok. He had many scenes in Mong Kwok, and each time many onlookers surround the location. The most memorable was a fire scene, where he had to take off his pants in public on the streets of Mong Kok. Although the main fire scene, he had a stunts double replace him, but he still had to appear in his boxers, the scene was too embarrassing. He laughed and said he didn't have any kiss scenes in the collaboration with Charmaine Sheh this time, so he can recommend his girlfriend to watch the series, no fear of jealousy.

Random post.. but better than nothing right ? LOL
I am so excited for this series.. I don't think many are familiar with this but it was included in the 2012 Sales Presentation. Actually, Kevin was featured in the sales presentation. BUT obviously, he is not filming this series.

I honestly, did not think this series would even happen but it did O_O I think it was because of the ambitious idea of having Kate Tsui being pregnant and being a drug dealer at the same time O_O LOL, hopefully its just a fake and not real.
Anyway, the main reason why I'm excited for this series is because the cast !

Gotta say, Raymond's roles lately are short from terrible. I always remind myself of 'Mysteries of Love' his character was so horrible. I look back to that role whenever I see Raymond Lam LOL But hopefully this wouldn't be too bad, hopefully its a manly role.

I love ELLA ! hehe, finally she gets a main role and not a guest :D I am quite excited that she is paired with Raymond, a refreshing pair and not to mention a good looking one too :) Although, I don't think this pair is going to be a couple in the end . SUCKS!

And of course Michael !! I am sure he will be a showstopper here. Pretty much all his 'police' type series his in is good :D

Raymond Lam, Elaine Ng, Kate Tsui and Ella Koon in new TVB drug series

Yesterday Raymond Lam, Elaine Ng, Kate Tsui, Ella Koon attended the costume fitting for TVB new series Thunderous Drug Raid. Lead actor Michael Miu was absent because he was busy with other matters.

It turns out that Raymond and Elaine's relationship dates back to when Raymond first debuted and worked as TVB8's host. Back then because of the 'Siu Lung Lui' incident, Raymond was able to interview her: "Over 10 years ago, I interviewed Elaine Ng before. It was that incident, which gave me the only chance to see her. After so many years, she is still my senior after all. (At the time did you speak up during the interview?) Yes, actually it was just a surrounding interview because at the time, there were too many other reporters at the scene." Raymond reveals this is his first time portraying a member in the law enforcement, and is fortunate that shooting starts after the Lunar New Year, giving him time for him to physically train himself.

Elaine's last TVB series was Legal Entanglement (2001), and this will be her comeback series after 10 years. She was asked how she became interested in accepting this series? She said: "A 30 episode story is very good. Also, I've been watching my partner Michael Miu's works since The Fearless Duo (1984), many of my female friends are envious that I get to work with him. They also said Michael's looks are better than the past. (Are there any kiss scenes?) I don't know. We do have a relationship in the series, and have a child after the divorce. (Will you refuse to kiss scenes?) Television is different from film. After all there is a limit. Artists don't really have much that they we don't want to shoot, just as long as its not a kiss scene during the time we eat." When speaking of Raymond once interviewed her in the past, Elaine frankly expressed it's been too long that she can't remember. It's been over 10 years, but she does remember one time they had hot pot in Shanghai.

Kate appeared as a pregnant woman for the costume fitting, she expressed she doesn't know who's baby she's carrying yet because the plot has not been fully confirmed. It is possible she's pretending to be pregnant to traffic drugs. Kate said: "I have the most miserable role in this series. In order to raise my younger brother, I had to sell pirated material and work as a 'boxer' at a bar. Later, I become a known 'Drug Queen'. The role really has a lot of room for development, so I must thank the producer. This Lunar New Year, I will have homework to do, since I need to know how to play the drinking game 'chai mui' and have to use a lot of slang words."

As for Ella Koon, not counting the series she guest starred in, it has been 6 years since she's been in a TVB series. When asked if she had to confirm who her partner was before accepting? Ella said: "I trust TVB's selections, feels quite suitable for me to portray. (Will you avoid series with Ron Ng?) This time I'm very happy to collaborate with Raymond Lam because we never collaborated before. Many of my female friends screamed when they learned about this, I will really have to enjoy these 3 months. (Any kiss scenes?) I don't think so, the story is about me having a crush on Raymond, he later chooses Kate Tsui."

Bottled Passion Review;

I'm still raw in emotions after just completing Bottled Passion :'((
Far out, such a sad ending but I will get to that later ..

The beginning of the series progressed really really well hence the praises I gave previously. BUT, towards the middle of the drama it did get really boring LOL I dunno, I just found myself skipping alot of parts. Oh, right. It was the scenes with Raymond and Elaine that was really such a bore. I get that it is his plan, but I personally think they over did it. Yeah, the whole middle chunk of the series was a tad boring.. but it was watchable all in all. Another boring scene that I wanted to note out is Jack Wu. HE is a really nice guy but really boring to watch though :/
But there was a couple of scenes where it was really good too which was the relationship with Niki and Raymond which appear throughout.

The last couple of episodes however, was really really good. The drama suddenly got back on track and the revenge started to plan out. One by one, each of Rebecca's family members paid the price of what they did to Raymond when he was young. Yeah, soon after Niki and Raymond finally gets re-united.

Ohkay so.. Raymond did die. Actually, I didn't think how Raymond died was THAT silly. It was understandable. So, yes it was unrealistic how no-one was on the street at the time since it was DAYTIME LOL but either than that his death makes sense. He got stabbed, so he tries to roam around to go to Niki but eventually found out that he cannot make it. Instead of Niki seeing him dead, he rather run away and disappear. OMFG, HOW UGH right ?! LOL Yeah, he could've survived if he offered the help of that guy but instead he told him to help Elaine. Honestly, I don't hate Elaine. It makes sense for her to kill Raymond, *sigh.. you have to pity her as well.

Raymond dying is really really sad and tragic but that's how the series works, and it did leave a very memorable ending. A very unique ending that you don't see in TVB series so I praise them for that. But, I did feel sad for Niki :'(((((( She is just so pitiful. Those two have been so much !! Although you would think the series was evolving around Raymond's revenge, however, it wasn't. The whole series was focused on Niki and Raymond from beginning to end. AND, the producers wanted this love story in the end to be a tragic one so yeah, sad :(

Anyway, there are a lot of notable mentions in this series.
First off, obviously the two leads did a great job ~ Everyone keeps saying Niki is a bad actress.. maybe before but I reckon she did a flawless job here. I adore her in here. Such a great character. Raymond .. must be his breakthrough role :)

ERIC LI !! OMGG, so cute LOL
I agree with everyone, he is awesome in here. I love his loyalty, humour and everything about him. When he came through the door crying.. telling Niki that Ray died.. that killed me inside. omg. Yeah, his bromance with Raymond was so compelling. FINALLY, TVB gave him a non-evil character. Who knew he can be such a cute character LOL So glad he had a happy ending :)

Rebecca Chan did a really good job as the villian. She has always been a great actress but this role was really well done so it brought out her acting :)

And lastly, Elaine Yiu. Her acting in here was really good :O LOL, Yeah she was really good. Uh.. all I can say is she was really good.

Oh, nothing in acting wise to praise BUT I did like them very much :) Claire and Raymond Cho haha, cute couple. Claire is so funny at times, AND Raymond is such a good brother to Niki :)

Yeah, I am done rambling. My verdict ? I love this series. Although the middle was a tad boring, I got over it and the last couple of episodes saved the drama for me. Really good drama. I'm so sad that it got aired so early, .. I don't think any of them can have a chance at the awards. :(

Kind of unexpected but I changed my layout last minute LOL
I was browsing on blogskins and found this simple layout, so I used it straight away.
I was bored of my current layout too, this one is less colourful which is sad coz I prefer colourful layouts more so I am gonna adjust it in the near future. I will also create a new banner for this too.. but no promises there. Anyone wanna create me a banner ? :SSS
But overall, I am not done.. still need to adjust some things so yeah.

Couple of things to post today :)
Gonna do abit of update. Charmaine and Kevin are both gonna filming in Mainland China for months ! .. so you can't really expect a lot of news from them for a awhile ! They might come back to Hong Kong to do an event, but that's the most your gonna see them. :/

Ohkay, next thing gonna update is what I'm watching so far.
Been catching to a couple of TVB series lately... Really enjoying it so far :) I'm impressed.
I tried watching When Heaven Burns but unfortunately I just can't relate to it. I honestly, watched it for Charmaine and nothing else. Before I watched it, there was alot of negativity about the series so I wasn't motivated watching it to be honest.

AND, in the end i really did not like this series. Its too draggy and the genre of the series does not suit me. Actually, I was really intrigued in the whole cannibalism ordeal but I don't think they bring that out well. SO yeah, not watching it.

What I'm also watching is a TVB sitcom, Til Love Do Us Die. TVB sitcoms lately has been so stupid. Like, humor wise is so stupid and the plot is unacceptable even for a sitcom. 2011 sitcoms was the worst by far.
BUT. This is a really enjoyable sitcom !! There is no exaggerated humor like you seen in 'Show Me Happy'. IT flows really nice and a really good family drama. Hence why the really good ratings the show has received. It gained up to more than 30 points which is pretty rare for a sitcom. BUT the only flaw I have with this series is the whole Joyce's marriage ordeal but still, I think its watchable. It is definitely though, more of a typical family drama so just keep that in mind.

And lastly, what I have been watching is Bottled Passion. I have read tonnes of reviews of this series saying how good it is so I was pretty excited. AND you know what ? It is good :) I really like the main leads, Niki and Raymond. Its a nice refreshing change and not to mention their good actors and quite good looking too haha.

I really like Niki, I think she is so pretty and pure so I always enjoy watching her onscreen. I'm so glad she recently signed a TVB contract so we can expect to see many dramas from her :)

Anyway, yeah the plot is really good and you can expect climaxes in every episode. I can't say much since I just started, but so far the story is fast paced and isn't draggy so you find yourself quite attached. One of the biggest plus of the series is that it is only a 20 ep drama so hence its fast-paced.

I am so glad there isn't a particular 'annoying' character in here like every drama possesses. I thought Claire was gonna be one, but she isn't so bad and she can be so funny at times. She acts sassy but she is quite kind-hearted :)

Oh, I find the poster of the series quite misleading.. it definitely isn't a sweet drama like the poster portrays LOL
Yeah, its quite a shame that it got aired in that timeslot, but it did get great ratings so that was a relief.

I wanted to post this because it followed along my review on Bottled Passion. A notable mention is Eric Li. Every review I have read has mentioned him. He probably receives the most evil roles to act in in TVB history so he was never liked. But I'm glad people gave him a notable mention through this series. :) To be honest, haven't seen much of him so can't say much.. i'll see..

TVB actor Eric Li's transition from evil to good gets applauded

All along, TVB artist Eric Li played villains, except for his latest drama Bottled Passion in which he finally got the chance to play a 'good' role. In the series, Eric played 'Law Yat' and had many scenes opposite of Raymond Wong. Eric's acting was recognized and has been praised. Regarding his roles going from evil to good, Eric expressed he is grateful of producer Lee Tim Shing for giving him the opportunity. He said: "This is my second time working with Tim Gor. He's very brave, making me go from evil to good. The public had pretty good response. Since the series started airing, my fans on Weibo doubled every day. I'm truly happy." Recently Eric is working on two new series including Dangerous Protection (Bosco Wong, Linda Chung) and The Great Eunuch (Wayne Lai, Michelle Yim), he is seriously on a busy schedule. Unknowingly, Eric has already been in the industry for 16 years. When asked if he had ever thought about taking a TV award? He modestly said: "I won't think about it. My mentality is the more I think, the more disappointed I will be."

Also, Eric had collaborated with several FaDans in the past, like Linda Chung and Nancy Wu and had some intimate scenes with them too. However, he had never had rumors or negative report, Eric laughed: "I have great chemistry with them and communicate well prior to shooting. (Did you spark with Nancy Wu?) If we wanted to spark, then it would have happened long ago."

FHIII Review

Hey Guys,
Its been a while but I am gonna do a Forensic Heroes III review for you guys :')
Hands down, the original cast is the best ! The new cast was disappointing. Oh I miss Bobby, Yoyo and Frankie so much :'(

Honestly, I prefer the previous two compared to this sequel. Why ? I think it has a lot to do with the chemistry of the cast. I really do not the feel any interactions between the Police and Forensics in FHIII.They seem disconnected and just don't share any chemistry. In FHII, Yoyo and even Charmaine shared good connection with Bobby, they made such a good team. But in this case, Wayne and Kate was so .. awkward. They barely interacted, and it really just seemed like the forensics team did all the work for the police.

BUT I was surprised how well Maggie pulled off this role :) My fav role that I have watched from her so far. I thought no one could ever replace Frankie but I was wrong, she did great as a pathologist :)

Honestly, Wayne wasn't bad but the scriptwriter failed to make his character alive, in other words he was boring LOL AND, he doesn't give off a professional aura ! Maybe because he is short ? I reckon, Wayne doesn't suit these type of roles. I prefer him in costume dramas where his character is quirky and hateful like in Devil's Disciples !! HE was so hilarious and awesome ! My fav role from him. Unfortunately, TVB stopped giving those roles ever since he became 'popular'.

Did anyone think making Kate the Senior Inspector and Ron the cop weird ? Kate is way too young for that rank, and her acting needs to improve if she wants to pull it off. But her character was fun and interesting, but I didn't think much of her. There wasn't enough emphasis on Ron at all, he had minimal scenes so he was more of a backdrop as Kate's lover. I didn't feel any chemistry between Ron and Kate so I was uninterested in their relationship :/

On the other hand, I did like Edwin and Aimee as a couple. They were so cute and made the show alive coz the rest of the characters was so boring to watch. They both give really good auras as forensics, they looked so professional !! I also think Aimee looked really pretty in here! BUT WHY did she got killed off is a mystery to me ! Their was no reason to kill her off. In my theory, I think she got killed off because they wanted to make the killers seem more evil. ><"

Nancy wasn't the fav in the series coz she is .. hateful but her performance was excellent. Nancy did such a good job in terms of acting ! I never did liked her, but when she got killed I started to pity her so much and i was so sad that she died !! So i dunno, maybe I do like her?

The cases here are alright, I mean the standards of the cases hasn't really improved LOL
BUT I think the cases in here was a tad bad just because the first and last case was so disappointing. Those are the most important cases, yet it failed to capture me. Actually, the last case had a good concept.. involving the death of Nancy and all but they end it so abruptly and easily !! It was a horrible ending imo. I wish they could've expanded that case somehow to make it more suspenseful. That car crash at the end was such a copy cat to the Charmaine and Kevin car crash in FHII ! I seriously don't care if they plagiarize some bits of American crime shows.. TVB needs to improve with the cases.

My favorite case though is definitely the Cilla case ! I thought Cilla was so so interesting and mysterious and the cases that evolved around her was great too !

Throughout the series, it was obvious that they tried to make it funny.. and it was not. The jokes and humor was so lame.. LOL

The series also dragged sometimes especially with Nancy and Wayne's relationship ! I knew it was gonna be draggy ! That kinda wrecked the drama for me. AND I thought Wayne and Maggie relationship was so rushed and sudden ! AND, what is with the Ruco and Maggie ?! They were a cute couple but I honestly skipped them all the time AND I didn't see the point of them pairing when Maggie didn't even love him. Their breakup was the first breakup that neither one was sad !!

Anyway, I am currently watching When Heavens Burns atm. It is a tad boring, and I have no idea if I would continue or not.
I am so excited to watch Bottled Passion though ! I love Romance dramas and it has been a long time since TVB has released one ! My fav is 'The Seventh Day' which also features Niki so I hope I would like this one as well :)))

enjoy the frequent post.. two post today :') I am guessing soon there would be rarely any news on him as soon as Kevin goes to film his Mainland drama :(
As said, I have watched startling step by step.. and it wasn't that great. I thought it was boring but my mum absolutely loved it so i dunno. Kevin's character was honestly so boring to watch. LOL
Lets just say this year is Kevin's lucky .. VERY lucky year.
BUT congrats to Kevin either way :)

Kevin Cheng crowned 'TV King' in Beijing for 'Startling Step by Step'

This year, Kevin Cheng's 'TV King' luck is quite strong. Following his TV King victory in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, last night he was presented with the 'Most Popular Network Actor of the Year Award' award in Beijing's TV Drama Awards Made In China 2011 for his role in Mainland popular drama Startling Step by Step. As for the 'TV Queen' award, Sheren Tang won 'Most Popular Network Actress of the Year Award' for her performance in No Regrets. Sheren's strong opponents included Charmaine Sheh, Ruby Lin, Rainie Yang and Tavia Yeung.

Startling Step by Step also won the 'Most Popular Network TV Drama of the Year Award'. Kevin was very happy and thanked everyone's support. He said without his fans, there will not be him today. Charmaine, who is currently rumored to have reconciled with him, did not avoid and congratulated Kevin on Weibo too.

Witnessed Kevin Cheng with his ex, Charmaine Sheh madly glares at Niki Chow in anger

TV King '3 award' winner Kevin Cheng's news has been boiling. Aside from his pay raise reaching up to 250,000 RMB per episode, there are also rumors that he's been back together with Charmaine Sheh 2 months ago. [Sudden Weekly] received reliable news that on December 6th during Toby Leung's wedding banquet, Kevin, Charmaine and Niki Chow were all present. Charmaine saw Kevin publicly hanging out with ex-lover Niki and didn't even give her one look (feeling neglected), she was furious and jealous on the spot.

The next day (Dec 7th), Charmaine was back at TVB for the When Heaven Burns promotion and bumped into Niki, who was shooting for Policewoman's Love Battlefield, in the makeup room. In 2008, it was said Charmaine got in between Kevin and Niki's 5 year relationship, but the 'Charmaine-Kevin Love' only lasted for a year and half before it was game over. Recently it was rumored that the two reconciled 2 months ago. Aside from traveling to Singapore for The 16th Asian TV Awards 2011 and being crowned TV King and Queen together, it was said Charmaine didn't mind being condescending as she goes in secret to Kevin's 20,000 HKD monthly rented Harbourview Horizon unit.

Breaks the Ice at Wedding Banquet

Although Charmaine and Kevin succeeded in their reconciliation, the relationship cannot be exposed. On December 6th at Toby Leung's wedding banquet held at the Tsim Sha Tsui Intercontinental Hotel, Kevin and Niki attended as well. Back then, it was exposed Kevin secretly interacted with Charmaine, waking up Niki from her dreams and led to their breakup. At the time, there were many open seats in the makeup room, but Charmaine deliberately went to sit next to Niki. Everyone in the room went silent. Charmaine put up her authority and did not spare anyone around, she just kept glaring at Niki angrily. Angelina Lo, was present at the makeup room too, and even she sensed the tension. Wow.. never knew Michael is gonna film this O__O Obviously it is all for publicity though, since Kevin left Michael with nothing at the awards LOL
Hrm.. I always wonder if these two have a grudge against each other ? I mean, they can act all friednly with each other but who knows behind the scenes LOL

From the looks of it, Michael will have a smaller role than Kevin. Kevin has been in hot demand as said, so this series will be more concentrated on Kevin rather than Michael.
I think seeing Kevin in costume and wig isn't too bad anymore, he looks alright :')

I think Kevin is a Emperor in here, lets hope he does it justice with the acting :)

BUT anyway, in other news.. after me losing hope in these two together.. Charmaine and Kevin will be both in Hendigan China filming their drama for good few months. Sooo.. as Kevin said, they might even go out to dinner/lunch together every now and then since they are in the same area! WOOT ! HAHA

In this year’s TVB Anniversary Awards, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) beat Michael Tse (謝天華) in winning the Best Actor Award. Although the battle in Hong Kong had concluded, Kevin and Michael will relocate their battleground to mainland China.In new mainland series, Hero <英雄>, the pair will be arch rivals and hold a battle of wits, with Kevin portraying Emperor Fuchai of Wu and Michael as Emperor Guojian of Yue during the Spring and Autumn Period (春秋时代)!

It turned out that the two good looking men, Kevin and Michael, never collaborated together at TVB. Hero will be the first time that the pair will be partnering together. Holy cow ! I was gobsmacked about Kevin's schedule for 2012 and not to mention the amount of money going in his pocket !! LOL
I guess his popularity is on high demand at the moment, so he definetly needs to keep filming new dramas especially in Mainland to secure it.

I would be worried if I was TVB, many HK artists are heading there now so I am fearing for them now. Many artists have been stressing that TVB has really bad working conditions that doesn't allow artists to sleep. They really need to change this before its too late.

Is it just me or Christine Kuo is gonna ruin the series for me because of her bad acting ?

Kevin Cheng is to pocket 50 million for shooting Mainland series

China series Startling Step by Step got Kevin Cheng a rise in popularity in China. Also, with his recent TV King awards and honor, Kevin's salary skyrockets. It was rumored Kevin's salary in Mainland reached up to 250,000 RMB per episode. Currently Kevin is loaded with 'gold digging series', aside from the new Hengdian series Hero that he started shooting today, he also accepted the modern version of Startling Step by Step to start in mid-year and another Mainland series. The three series are estimated to bring him 30 million HKD. Ever since Kevin won the Best actor award.. everyone has ben concerning about his love life LOL So naturally Charvin rumours are back on haha. There has been a lot about them lately, but I didn't post the others just coz they're really repetitive.

This one had better prove that they have dated so yeah LOL

BUT, he did say 'we are not back together' .. so is that implying that they have dated ?

PLUS, both of them are busy working in Mainland lately.. Kevin will be in Mainland for a good 6 months after the filming of Ghetto Justice II !! So they can easily hang out hehe

Honestly, I have no clue if they dated before or what not.. there is no proof they did but hopefully, after more events together they can i guess 'reconcile' LOL

Kevin Cheng Does Not Deny Dating Charmaine Sheh in the Past

Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎)and rumored ex-flame, model Jenny Tsui (徐靖雯), appeared at the premiere of Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol in Hong Kong yesterday. Kevin and Jenny greeted each other at the event. Regarding rumors that Kevin and Jenny were back together, he smiled, “Last time, reporters asked me who Jenny’s boyfriend was. Fashion post today :))))

woot, LOL. I thought this years 'fashion' is one of the best .. it improved but then again not perfect.

I really do LOVE Mandy and Elanne's outfits !! Both suit them very well, and I love the simplicity of makeup and hair :) Although, I must say, I think Mandy's dress is too short.. It looks kinda awkward hanging so high up.. LOL

Natalie's outfit is a stunner ! I love it :)
Really elegant and flowy, and definetly matched the event :)
I love the necklace, it compliment the dress very well but I think she should've done something more to the hair ..

HAHA, Cilla's outfit matches herself! Very cute and girly LOL But in saying that, not a very appealing dress O__O Its a tad weird. LOL Cillia herself is quite short, so she should've worn somwething more tight-fitted.

I LOVEEEE Linda's dress ! SO PRETTY. The sweetheart neckline covered in gold is so gorgeous. I heard someone specially designed it for her so no wonder why ;) I guess Linda went all out with this dress because she was expected to win the favourite actress award.
If you remember with the other years Linda's dress choice was never this elegant.

I'm not entreily sure if I like this dress or not but it really does suit Sharon :) Obviously, she is famous for her long legs so she really did emphasised that well. I think its a tad too short though O_O How did she managed to sit ? LOL
Oh, I don't like the shoes at all.. it looks cheap for some reason.

Hrm.. these are both dress I didn't like for the night. I have no commeny whatsoever with Liza's outift O_____O It loooks absolutely shocking and .. yuck LOL What was she thinking !! Liza never seems to wear 'normal' clothes at these events ..
Tavia's dress isn't so bad, but it looks abit too old for her. And the hair as well, so old looking.

I LOVE Nancy's dress ! She looks like a swan ! So beautiful. This dress fits her really well, you can see her curves and such. Really well-fitted. I also like the ruffles of her dress at the bottom, it made the dress look les boring :) AND I really like the red lips, contrasts with the white dress so they kinda balance each other out !

Kat's dress choice has always been to weird and old and vintage looking for me, so I'm glad she didn't wear them for this event. This dress is alright, although this is a prestigious event so it is lacking. I thought the shoes does not match the dress at all, and I think something else should be done to the hair. It looks flat, maybe curls ?

I LOVE SELENA'S wole outfit !! She was one of my favs. She is so pretty !!

I love the dress, its modest but sexy at the same time. The details of the jewels on the top is so beautiful, she looks like a goddess ! AND I ove the hair and makeup, matches the dress well.

BUT because the pictures isn't really clear, I am gonna say the necklace and shoes looks odd but idunno O_O LOL

Yeah, another two disappointing dress choice for both :/ Sire's dress looks way too simple and .. childish looking. And the way it fans out like that is so awkward looking O_O The hair also looks weird.

Christine's dres is another no comment. WEIRD. All I can say is it matched Louis' outift well so they made a weird compatible pair LOLL

I thought Aimee that night looked really pretty and glowing.. The makeup on her is nice :)

BUT her dress is boring and flat. For some reason, Aimee has the most boring dress choices, they always are so flat and simple. She really needs to hire a stylist LOL

Its weird, but Aimee has a big chest so I would think she would like to emphasise that .. but she always cover them up so modestly.. And the hair is so old lady, with that weird hairpiece.

Fala is pretty that night, I really like her makeup :) The dress is alright, its abit one dimensional LOL Again, the bottom of the dress is cut off so awkwardly.. and the shoes is a no no .

Myolie is definetly a stand out tonight ~ She was my fav in terms of fashion.

Myolie has always had a really good fashion sense, I always look forward in what she will wear.. its always strange but gorgeous at the same time. In this case, I LOVE IT. Its so quirky with the feathers but it looks really elegant ! I love how her dress fitted her at the top then it fans out lie that. It looks really nice. Love the makeup BUT I thought the hair needs to be done again. I think it should be kept simple but that hairstyle is weird.

Charmaine Sheh & Kevin Cheng takes off to Singapore for awards ceremony, no interaction

Ex-rumored couple Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh meets again. Following the encounter at Toby Leung's wedding banquet the other night, yesterday morning, the two were at the airport to depart to Singapore for the The 16th Asian Television Awards 2011. Charmaine and Kevin are both nominated for Asia TV King and Queen for their roles in Can't Buy Me Love and Ghetto Justice. The ex-rumored couple were also accompanied by Fala Chen and Virgina Lok. Although on the surface, they didn't have much interaction, the two both claimed they are good friends. Charmaine said she had good chats with Kevin at Toby's wedding and has always been very supportive of him.

Charmaine and Kevin arrived at the airport one after the other to avoid awkwardness. The two didn't have much to say, Kevin and Fala were actually more chatty. Kevin was asked if he's feeling awkward since he didn't have much to say to Charmaine? He said: "We already chatted a lot at Toby's wedding, we are friends, no awkwardness." Charmaine also said they chatted a lot at Toby's wedding: "He got TV King, I immediately went to congratulate him. I'm very happy for him! I have supported him all along, we have always been friends." She said she learned of Kevin's accident yesterday morning: "Relax, he's so lucky. He'll definitely be fine!" Kevin said he received many phone calls after the accident, he thanked everyone's concern.

The candidates for the Asia TV Awards comes from Mainland, Taiwan, Korea and Japan, all are very strong opponents. Kevin smiled and expressed he hopes to win the award and told reporters to be mindful of the results. When speaking of the Ghetto Justice film version, Kevin had been on a tight schedule and therefore the film could not start. He expressed he is not sure, and will have to ask director Tong Kei Ming to find out. It was said the tides has changed for Kevin after he won TV King? He said: "Cannot be said that way, OK la! I'm just making a living, nothing that spectacular. I am very satisfied with my current salary, but its not any special raise. If I get any more raises, no one will give me jobs. Awards is just a type of encouragement, just a recognition. Every artist hopes to get one."

Fala lost the TV Queen award in TVB this year, but she expressed she has confidence to get an award in Singapore.

Oh, btw Kevin recently got into a car accident :'(
Apparently he tried to dodge a dog, so selflessly he swerved and BAM ! He did all the alcohol test already, and was all clear so that wasn't the problem :)
Although not injured, he did wreck his 800,000 luxury car !! HOLY COW . haha
That must hurt either way.
Keivn has been on a very tight schedule, he will be in Hendigan on the 20th to film his new drama 'Hero'

I am not even joking, but I had no idea the TVB Anniversary awards was yesterday !! I was literallly in shock when I saw the news. HAHA

Oh, and because something is wrong with my blogger. I am only posting a limited amount of photos. So sorry about that :S

Yes, I think the winners were all pretty obvious but I am happy with the award winners, althought there was some that I didn't agree with..

BUT CONGRATS TO KEVIN AND MYOLIE for winning best actress/actor :D So happy for them, especially for Myolie Wu . I dunno, I think she deserved it. She really is a dedicated actress who is trying her best. Although, I didn't think she deserved the Favourite female character for her role in 'Ghetto Justice' ... her character wasn't that amazing but then again, there wasn't any other mentionable actresses that was worthy for this award either.

Well.. actually I guess Linda should've gotten the award. I don't like her role in Yes Sir, Sorry sir at all but her crying scenes were done well soo.. and plus, it was kinda obvious that everyone expected Linda to win this one. I'm pretty sure Linda was really disappointed she didn't get this one. TVB do give her alot of roles, BUT there usually not amazing worthy. Hopefully she will get one next year, I think she deserves it though with her consistent acting :)

I thought it was kinda funny how Myolie didn't preapre for the speech for favourite actress award at all. So she did mumble on and didn't say much, she even said she hoped she will say more next time .. ( best actress) haha, that must have slipped out.

I wished TVB could have it less obvious who was their fav and what not, every year, everyone comes in to these awards knowing who wins straight away.. its kinda pointless.

BUT gotta say, this has definetly been Myolie's year this year, her drama Curse of the Royal Harem has exceeded 40 plus ratings ?! That is amazing, the whole cast should be happy about that !

But anyway,

I am so glad that Lives of Omission won best drama :D Coz honestly, Ghetto justice was not that amazing. I think that drama was a tad overrated. The cases were really crap imo
I do have a feeling the only reason this won best drama was to give a consolation gift for Michael Tse. Who can forget the infamous 'Laughing Gor' ? LOL, I guess L.A LAW was an unexpected. LOL

But yeah, LOM is an awesome drama. I loved it.

I was so happy when Ben Wong won best supporting actor !! He totes deserved it ! He did an amazing and memorable performance on Lives of Ommision !

I didn't think Sire Ma deserved the improved female artist :/ I thought Cilla was more worthy after watching her role in FHIII ! She was amazing.. like her character was so convincing, creepy, and cute at the same time. I thought she deserved it more.

No comment on MC Jin's win O_O Didn't know why he got that award.

NGAWWW.. how cute was Bosco and Myolie ?!!!? They are such a cute couple. Adore them.

Astro TVB Awards: Michael Tse big winner, Sharon Chan accepts award shaking

Michael Tse, Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu, Sharon Chan, Bosco Wong and other TVB artists attended the Malaysian Astro Wah Lai Toi's AOD My Favourite Awards 2011 awards presentation the other night. That night, Michael was the big winner taking home 2.5 awards depended on his Lives of Omission -- 'My Favorite TV Theme Song', 'My Favorite TV Character' and shared 'My Favorite TV On-Screen Couple' with Fala Chen.

Michael expressed he was surprised to get the 'Theme Song' award: "Very surprising. When I get back to Hong Kong, the first thing I will do is share the 'On-Screen Couple' award with Fala!" When speaking of losing to Kevin Cheng on the 'Best Actor' award? Michael was not disappointed but instead was happy for him. As for Raymond Wong and Sharon Chan who won 'My Favorite TV Supporting Actor and Actress', Sharon said: "I was so emotional on stage my hands and legs started shaking. I couldn't even say my acceptance speech that I prepared beforehand. But, I am happy to have won this award and got acceptance from audience." Aside for being happy for himself, Raymond Wong was also happy for Kevin: "When we were shooting Boxing King together earlier, we were biting our jaws to get through our days. Now after the stress, there is another world."

The other night, when the artists were taking a large group picture, the media asked Bosco Wong to give a congratulatory kiss to girlfriend Myolie Wu, but he ran over to Kevin and used him as a shield. Initially Bosco and Kevin were just pretending to kiss, but it ended up being a real kiss. Bosco joked and asked Kevin if it was a good kiss? Kevin brought up Bosco's weakness once again and joked: "Pretty soft, but just your tongue is too short!"

Hey Guys,
I guess this is an infamous news going around atm, but I wanted to share my thoughts.
I wanted to wait for a couple of days to see how Benny and Joe explained themselves, and it is quite obvious they are having different answers each time.
The thing is, both of them kept saying they were sober .. so i did not get why they acted so idiotically. It would make more sense if they were drunk, so their mind wasn't thinking and unconsciously became intimate with Rose.. but they kept saying their not so I don't know..

Looking at the pictures, it is obvious that when Joe was hugging her she seemed fine with that but as soon as both of them bombarded her with kisses and covering her mouth so violently she really looked distress. I wasn't surprise that she filed for sexual harrassment. I absolutely support her for doing that ! Honestly, I never been a fan of Joe Ma or Benny Chan and hearing about this news, I am seriously so annoyed looking at them now. I just don't like them anymore and absolute no respects for them now !
This is definelty gonna damage their careers for a long run. I mean, I doubt any of their female co-stars wanna get close to them anymore now. I know I wouldn't !

The thing that is outrageous with this, is that they both are married !!! I mean, seriously ? What are they thinking. ugh, its so frustrating.

Bu then again, in saying that, they were at a ublic place so I didn't understand why no-one helped her out O__O Weird. Actually Rose has her fair share of these intimate incidents. Rememer when Alain Mikilitarian touched her in an inappropiate place? I realy pity her.

Benny Chan and Joe Ma Caught Sexually Harassing Rose Chan and Apologized for “Playful” Behavior

The day before, 19-year-old Rose Chan (陳嘉桓) was filming in Hengdian, China and met with several Hong Kong artists for dinner. Rose was sexually harassed by Benny Chan (陳浩民) and Joe Ma (馬德鐘), who forcibly kissed and hugged her after drinking too much alcohol. Benny roughly covered Rose’s mouth and his hands allegedly reached down to touch her chest and lower body. Despite Rose’s obvious fear in reaction to Benny’s harassment, Joe Ma sat expressionless while sitting at the same dinner table, as if Benny’s actions were a normal occurrence. Timmy Hung ( 洪天明) was allegedly in a drunken stupor. No one came to Rose’s rescue during the incident. Sunday Magazine published photos of Benny and Joe harassing Rose, which led to shock and anger amongst the public.

Since Rose’s harassment incident was extremely serious, her management company summoned Rose’s immediate return to Hong Kong yesterday to meet with lawyers. Rose will be appearing at a press conference today and file a police report. Rose’s manager, Sin Kwok Wai (冼國林), was extremely angered by the incident and vowed to seek justice for Rose. Arriving at the Hong Kong airport last night, Rose appeared tired and did not respond to the media’s questions.
Initially denying that he forcibly kissed Rose, Benny Chan later relented and issued a formal public apology after Sunday Magazine’s photos chronicling the sexual harassment were published. Joe Ma and Timmy Hung also changed their initial dismissal of the incident after incriminating photos were exposed on Monday morning.

Benny Chan Changes Tune and Apologizes for “Playful” Behavior
When Oriental Daily initially reported upon Rose Chan being forcibly kissed by Benny Chan and Joe Ma while in a drunken stupor, both Benny and Joe dismissed the gravity of the situation. Benny’s initial reaction when contacted by the press was, “What did I do wrong?” (Rose Chan indicated that you apologized to her after kissing her at the restaurant?) “Why did I have to apologize to her? Last night, we went for supper and the boss and assistant were there too. With everyone present, what could I have done?” (Did you hug and kiss Rose Chan?) “No! Why would I do that? The most I could do was whisper in her ear and put my arm around her shoulder. If she feels uncomfortable with such contact, then I will call her and apologize! I did not possess any intentions to treat her disrespectfully!” (Was Benny drunk at the time?) “I drank a little bit, but I was alert. I even drove my motorcycle home!” (Does your wife know what had occurred?) “No, she does not. I am very concerned what the press will write because my wife is about to give birth to our baby. I’m afraid you will scare her into giving birth early!”

However, after news of Benny and Joe’s harassment leaked, Benny apologized in his blog in a neutral manner, “I was wrong; blame it on my overly friendly manner and treating people with a true heart. We were all filming in Hengdian and many friends were present. Perhaps my method of expression was too exaggerated, which led to others’ displeasure and my family and friend’s concern. I would like to say that I was wrong and finally, I would like to thank my wife’s trust. From now on, I will be cautious and beware of who I meet.”

After Sunday Magazine’s photos of Benny harassing Rose were published, the gravity of the situation worsened. Five hours later, Benny left another message on his Weibo, changing his tune and apologizing. Benny emphasized that he did not harbor any illicit intentions towards Rose,

“Today I saw the newspaper reports. Due to my playful nature at that moment, it brought upon problems for many people. Rose was scared and Sin Kwok Lam (Rose’s sifu) was angry. I officially apologize to everyone involved in the incident and hope that the reports will not affect Rose’s work. I regard Rose only as a sister and do not have any illicit intentions. I hope Sin Sifu understands this point; I apologize again and again!”
It was understood that Benny Chan’s wife was currently pregnant. Mrs. Chan did not respond to Benny’s alleged sexual harassment of Rose Chan.

Timmy Hung: “Benny Forced Rose to Eat Sheep Penis!”
In yesterday’s Oriental Daily (prior to the exposure of the photos detailing Benny and Joe’s harassment of Rose Chan), eye-witness Timmy Hung (洪天明) noted that he was too drunk at the time. “In my muddle-headedness, Benny laughed and asked whether Rose wanted to eat sheep penis (羊鞭). Rose was shocked and very scared. Benny bit onto the sheep whip and forced her to eat it, perhaps giving the misconception that he was kissing her!” (Did you see Benny touching Rose’s body inappropriately?) “He was supporting her! From what I know, Benny was only playing!”

Timmy was shocked upon seeing the photos chronicling the sexual harassment incident. Timmy pleaded with Rose’s martial arts sifu, Sin Kwok Lam, who was intent on filing a police report, “I had invited Rose to dinner that evening. I also need to assume responsibility for what had occurred.”

Finally, Timmy put in favorable words for Benny Chan, “From what I know, Benny Chan loves to play and he is too zealous. The girl was too naïve and did not know how to block his overtures, thus leading to what had occurred. I hope the incident does not turn into a big scandal…we are all friends. Who has not done anything wrong?”

Joe Ma Closes Blog To Avoid Nasty Remarks
Prior to the exposure of photos documenting Benny and Joe’s harassment of Rose, Joe told Oriental Daily, “I was sharing a secret with Rose Chan.” (Did you touch and kiss her?) “No, I was just sitting close.” (What secret were you sharing?) “We spoke about forcing Benny to eat sheep penis.”

After photos were exposed detailing the harassment incident, Joe changed his tune, “I did drink some alcohol that night, but my mind was alert. Seeing that Rose was unhappy, I asked how she was and did not act without courtesy.” Asked about Benny’s behavior, Joe drew the line clearly, “I do not wish to speak too much about other things!”
Although Joe appeared full of smiles at a car promotional event yesterday with Ana R. and did not appear as if his spirits were dampened by Rose’s sexual harassment claims, Joe abruptly terminated his blog account last night.

A netizen, by the name of “Fortunate Coola” could not withstand Joe Ma’s behavior and left a message on Joe’s wife’s blog, “He went too far! He is like a [expletive] beast! Mrs. Ma, you are so beautiful and capable, why don’t you leave him? Do not suffer anymore; it’s pitiful!” Mrs. Ma replied, “Thank you for your concern.”

I actually have watched that Mainland drama, he was alright to be quite honest. The character definetly bored me but I guess Mainland China netizens like these type of charaters LOL Basically, He became popular in Mainland China for that role, and popular in Hong Kong for L.A Law. :))

TVB in crisis ?

I don't know if you guys have been following the news lately.. but TVB is in a big crisis right now LOL And I just want to discuss about it here. Ya' know, just my thoughts :)
TVB is a very dominant industry that is popular worldwide ! But, it can so easily fall part for the coming years to come due to various problems.

So, I kinda realized that TVB had a lack of artist this year.. I mean is anyone bored of the consistent and same old boring actors/actress which includes supporting, veterans and etc ? Coz I am personally. I guess that's why I have been interested Korean Drama because of the fact that they have a HUGE amount of artists and it is just so refreshing to watch even if the drama is bad.

I don't know how they can recruit new talented artist that can actually act *cough*. People like Tracey Yip or Christine Kuo are not gonna cut it. I guess besides Hong Kong pageants and such.. maybe they need to find other ways .. I dunno myself.

To make matters worse, there has been a huge trend of top fa dans and Sui sangs leaving TVB one by one to enter the Mainland Market. Not unusual due to better career future and higher pay .. LOL Something TVB needa think about, their pay is really low. I think average a normal artist can have 30 000 per ep whilst in Mainland its like 100 000 - 150 000 :O

Well, of course the higher ranked actors get about 50 000 or so , but still not as much as the Mainland Market; which often surprises me coz does anyone of you out there watch Mainland dramas ? I find them boring and draggy .. O_O Don't ask me where and how they get the money from to pay LOL
TVB is very stingy even though they are pretty successful oversea and if they keep doing some, paying their artist so poorly than it pretty much result to them leaving. They have suffered a big blow ever since Charmaine Sheh, Bowie Lam, left.

But I guess high pay isn't enough sometimes, Gallen Lo declined a promising series and promising pay with double his usual pay. It shows TVB also lacks in how friendly their industry is if you know what I mean O_O

Another thing about TVB is they are the soooooooo bias according to which actors/actress they like. No joke. Obviously, there is ALOT of underrated artist who is so loyal to TVB but it seems like they don't even care since they only care about their 'favorites' getting the best of dramas.
Lets say for example, Bosco Wong and Raymond Lam ? Don't mind me, I love them but it is obvious to me that TVB adores these actors because they are TVB Biological sons or whatever.
It is so ridiculous to hear Raymond Lam is hot for the top actor award when his series hasn't even aired yet ?! Like, what the hell is going on there.
There isn't only them though, people like Michael tse who is infamous for his Laughing Gor role is definitely being over used and I don't know when this character will ever die off already.

Since they have favourites, of course they will ignore some artist. I think it is a pretty infamous news now, but everyone knows about the Steven Ma incident right ? You know, how TVB rejected his Mainland Offer and how TVB did not do a celebration dinner when 'Life of a Sentimental' pulled out good ratings.. unfortunately for that series, it aired at the same time as Lives of Omission.. hrmm.. I wonder why ?

I personally felt bad for Steven honestly. I love him to bits, out of all the artists in TVB I would be the saddest person if he leaves. He gives a different vibe to his dramas which makes them really light-hearted and enjoyable to watch ! He is a great actor, but unfortunately no recognition at all. Speculation about him leaving saddens me :'(
Oh, and to add one more person.. Wong Hei is definitely one neglected actor ! He sadly, left recently.

I mean, even people like Felix Wong was treated poorly when his series Gun Metal Grey was airing. All eyes and interest from TVB was No Regrets. Wayne Lai was gaining huge popularity so even actors like him can't compete with Wayne due to favoritism LOL

And then another problem that arises is the lack of interest and enjoyment in their series now !! It has been coming to a whole new low of the quality of the series. They have been coming up with bad scripts and storyline that doesn't intrigue me at all. But this isn't a big problem, because considering other industries also have not been coming up with good dramas nowadays. Like you know, Korean dramas, Taiwanese and etc.. I mean, they all have some decent ones and some rare good ones but the rest are usually dodgy LOL
But in saying that, upcoming series they have in their hands really interest me still though LOL
Fornesic Heroes III, When Heaven Burns, and much more! They all still excite me LOL

Of course there is the whole Ricky Wong thing.. but that's another story.

Hey Guys,
WOOT ! ! hehe, I am pretty excited about Forensic Heroes III; it just totally reminds me of FHII so much <3 ahh, I gotta admit I am gonna miss the old cast so much. I don't even need to watch FHIII yet and I still am certain that the old cast is so much better.
Although Wayne is a great actor alongside Maggie.. I really don't think these two can bring such a performance like Bobby, Yoyo, Frankie, Charmaine etcc did. :'(
BUT, I'm sure they won't be too bad, it's just I am a bit unsure of Nancy, Kate and Ron's roles .. Is it just me but Nancy will somewhat drag the series and Kate's standard acting will how through ?
Overall, I'm not excited over the cast at all ! Something is missing for sure.

BUT, overall the most important thing about this series is that it MUST have good cases ! I'm sure most of you guys have all watched the promo clips already and looking at it, there seems to be very high technology used here and some scary cases. But there is no point of advance technologies if the cases are obvious and bad. I do have high hopes for the cases because the roles of victims and murderers and such seems to be very good actors used here.

I really really hope the cases will be scary, mysterious and intense .. and not be obvious and boring.

Currently watching Lives of Omission. I must admit, I do love it so far.. it has a different vibe to it so its interesting to watch.But it always makes me wonder if 'Laughing Gor' is being to overused . Okay, I get it .. his a awesome undercover cop but that was only for E.U.
And plus, don't find him that amazing of an character.. I don't get why the big hype of TVB .. Its getting abit boring now. On count, there is 4 series/movie that has Laughing in it .. like seriously ? That's just kinda stupid to be honest.
I'm also getting annoyed with the increasing roles of undercover cops in TVB series these days.. like it isn't exciting anymore. Not only not exciting but so repetitive and boring. I heard there will be a undercop 'female' version next year as well. Oh dear..

Hey Guys,
hrm.. how do I start this ? Ohkay, let me get straight to the point.. I will be not posting as much anymore. So you can consider I will not make this blog active but I may post ONCE in awhile.
I didn't wanna completely close this blog just coz I know I will regret it later on.
It has been approx 2 years having this blog ? I'm pretty proud of myself hehe, I didn't expect that I will last that long LOL

There are many reasons why I deactivated this blog though.
The biggest reason is that I am no longer a huge fan of 'Charvin' anymore or more precisely Kevin and Charmaine. For a very long time now, I felt that I just posted these news/pictures on them just because I was obligated to and not because I wanted to.
I realized after watching Sister of Eternal Flower and Ghetto Justice that I am no longer a fan of them like before. AND also because I have not been watching TVB dramas at all for the past month or so. It was more like sparingly watching it whenever I can.. It was never a serious attempt.
SO yeah, I guess it's goodbye ? LOL

I don't really have alot to post atm :$
I'll just do a super quick review on some dramas I have been watching :)
As you all know.. I really did not watch TVB dramas all that seriously now. I dunno why, I just get lazy too.. maybe because I'm not expecting much from them anymore :/
But definitely, series that are potentially good I'll watch them .. but for now I'm not interested in any.

It might sound shocking to some people, but I'm not really interested in 'Ghetto Justice' anymore. I was for the first 4 episodes of the series but then it kinda lost my interest :$ Despite the praises for the show.. I don't think i'll continue on anymore. Myabe just watching it sparingly to see how it goes LOL. I mean, I like Kevin's character. I love his intractions with his little gang HAHA. Not the biggest fan of Myolie though :# I don't really trust her character, I feel like she is a 2-face person because of her greed in success.

This is actually surprising for me ! Wax and Wayne is a good series. Not all that amazing but its enjoyable. I don't know if anyone else notices but its pretty much a duplicate of Heart of Greed in my opinion with just some changes. I can't be bothered explaining right now the similarities and such.. I will when I'm bothered and free LOL
I mean, the beginning of the series is really similar but as the series moved on .. it had its own storyline happening there so its not exactly the same or anything anymore..
And yes, I really dislike Sunny .. even though he doesn't play a nice guy . he instead receives a irrational guy which is kinda annoying :@ I can see why viewers complains about how loud he is HAHA. He really does shout alot in the beginning but I guess it calmed down abit.
I am loving Roger atm, although he may appear as a evil person .. he is actually not as bad but instead a really nice guy ><" I mean, after all he isn't the villain in the series anyway.
Yeah, his awesome.. he is such an interesting character that I can't really explain. I am acrtually rooting for Roger and Kate, even though they rarely have any scenes with each other.. so far, they share unique chemistry ! I guess its the fact that Ron and Kate started to date already int he first episode.. it kinda makes you lose interest in them. And plus, they don't share chemistry with each other.
I am glad Toby took on this role, she is quite a character here LOL . But yeah, I do like her being the tomboy and such, Its a nice change. AND I;'m loving what's going on with her and Him Law. hehe, they are gonna make a cute couple :P

And yeah, that's all I have been watching. Hope you guys enjoy ~

First off let me start of by saying.. this may be an uninteresting post for some people so just beware of that LOL
I just felt the need to share with some people who are interested and curious of the drama :)
AND yes, it is a Korean drama :P Sadly I haven't been watching any TVB series .. I do, but just snippets of it. Its never a serious attempt D:

I have watched many Kdrama over this past year.. and never intended to post anything about it here .. but considering this is the best drama I have ever watched in my life, I don't think it wouldn't be too bad if you guys wanna watch it too :) And plus, this drama is super, super popular in China.. like over 200 million hits online so yeah.. LOL

What drama you're wondering ? haha, well of course "City Hunter". If your a regular on my blog, you may have already read a post about this already but now that I have finished I wanna do a review on this drama :D Honestly, out of all the reviews I did on TVB etc.. I am super excited writing about this !!

To summaries the storyline of the drama..
Lee Yoon-Sung (Lee Min Ho) works at the Blue house for the National Communication Network Team. He graduated from M.I.T in the U.S and possesses elite skills as an I.T engineer. At the Blue House, Yoon-Sung meets Kim Na Na (Park Min Young), who works as a bodyguard there. The two people fall in love with each other even though Yoon-Sung was warned not to fall in love due to his elaborate plan for his revenge is his ultimate mission...
Basically, both Lee Yoon Sung and his father Lee Jin Pyo (Kim Sang Joong) are looking for five people who all served in the 1983 wipe-out plan that resulted in 2o innocent deaths, including his father whom luckily escaped. Justice was served and eventually all five was hunted down by the 'City Hunter' in which all paid the price.

HAHA, yeah that's basically a very very rough summary of the series. It is definitely not detailed, I mean, I can go on forever but yeah.. LOL
If your still iffy about the series, then all I can say is just trust me on this. If its not the best for some people than it would definitely be a very fine drama.
Even if you have never ever ever attempted watching a Korean Drama before in your life, than please try this out. You'll love it ! Its not your typical Kdrama where its always lovey dovey and cliche.. I mean, its totally different from any Asian drama actually including TVB.

Although it sounds like a very dark and evil series, its definitely not ! Its seriously a very very meaningful drama that really captures you as an audience. As a series, City Hunter gave me a perfect combination of action and heart. You guys know I love action series right ? Well, the choreography of fighting scenes and other epic stunts were downright AMAZING ! And the romance in this series captured me, Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho shares intense chemistry with each other and the storyline of them two are perfect in my opinion.

What I love about this series is definitely the cliffhangers ! It just ends at the most crucial or anxious scenes, it was definitely annoying but then again it was exciting LOL. AND I cannot emphasize enough how many cliffhangers this series gave me !! IT'S CRAZY ! Literally every single ending episode made me scream or give me a mental breakdown. Haven't seen any series that gave me so many cliffhangers ! Haha, it really makes you feel like a child again seeing your superhero saving the world type of thing. HAHA.

BUT, the only problem I have with this drama is the last episode ! Why did they end off the episode like that, it beats me. I mean, even the director had regrets about the ending. It didn't end with a bang.. it was very very vague and confusing. It was such an open-ended ending..
I wish there was 'more' of Kim Na Na and Lee Yoon sung when they re-united .. all they showed was both of them smiling leaving us to imagine what happened to their future. FAROUT!
AND it would've been nice if they showed the family together, living a normal life. *sigh
BUT, because the drama was so good before, I kinda got over it :)

Oh, and may I add this has a very very attractive cast who are all such great actors ! supberb acting from all :D
I mean c'mon.. look at the two main actor/actress ?

I mean, everyone has their own opinions on a drama, I'm just expressing my own.
Overall, a MUST watch >:)
HEHE, As soon as the drama ended.. of course I have to go buy it :D
I am currently re-watching it again and watching it the second time is equally as exciting !

Wow.. there is seriously so much news I wanted to post today.. LOL
I have never watched War and Beauty ever, not even a glimpse of it.. so I'm not so sure if its a good drama or not although I know everyone loves it so it must be good. I'm pretty keen with this sequel though, it would be pretty interesting :D I'm loving the cast already ! Perhaps replacing Bowie with Kevin wouldn't be such a bad idea right ? hehe.

TVB prepares for 'War and Beauty 2'

TVB is currently airing reruns of the 7 year old classic drama War and Beauty during the late night hours. Audience are starting to chase the series again with the ratings reaching up to 7 points. Producer Jonathan Chikis preparing to start War and Beauty 2, and anticipates the original cast. However, Gigi Lai has already retired and Bowie Lam left TVB, so the only cast left are Sheren Tang, Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan and Maggie Cheung. Their schedules still need to be looked at before consideration.

Producer Chik reveals that the production is still in the preliminary planning stage and the cast list is not confirmed yet. Back then, Ada Choi wasn't able to take part in War and Beauty because of her conflicting schedule, but this time she has hope to be in the sequel. Producer Chik said Ada is a very good actress, and hopes she'll be able to participate. The sequel is temporarily scheduled to start in February 2012, and hopes to shoot in other countries. Charmaine and Sheren both expressed they want to participate in the series and hopes their schedules can accommodate.

Hrmmm.. wow another sequel ?! It would make sense if Sheren participated in this series as well.. but it would feel abit weird to see her AGAIN in another series with Wayne :$
Nothing against Wayne or anything.. but I think TVB is giving him the most potential series and airing them towards the anniversary awards. Aren't they just a tad bit unfair ?

Wayne Lai To Star in “Rosy Business 3″; Scriptwriter Cheung Wah Biu Returns to TVB

Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) won two TVB Best Actor awards from starring in Rosy Business <巾幗梟雄> and No Regrets <義海豪情>. Credit must be attributed to scriptwriter, Cheung Wah Biu (張華標), who fleshed out Wayne’s characters fully. It was understood that Cheung Wah Biu will return to TVB in October 2011 and will partner with Lee Tim Sing (李添勝) on new series, Rosy Business 3 < 巾幗梟雄 3>! Upon learning of the “Iron Triangle” collaboration, Wayne was extremely happy. Perhaps he may even win a third Best Actor award!

In his May birthday celebration, Wayne made a wish that scriptwriter, Cheung Wah Biu would return to TVB. Producer Lee Tim Sing confirmed that Mr. Cheung will make a comeback after a 14-month departure, while resuming his role as Assistant Creative Director.

Rosy Business 3 To Film in April 2012

Tim Gor said that it would be difficult for Rosy Business 3 to have continuity from Rosy Business and No Regrets. “Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) and Wayne Lai’s characters already died and we can no longer continue their characters. Perhaps there are some elements of continuity in the story, such as setting the time line in the 1960s or pre-modern period. The story will be independent from the earlier series.

“I have set the filming period with Wayne, which will occur in April 2012.” (What about Sheren?) “She is currently busy filming in mainland. I have to discuss the matter with her. Hopefully, she will have time!”

Currently working for a television studio in Taiwan, Cheung Wah Biu indicated that he did not adjust to living there. His wife was upset [and wanted him to return to Hong Kong]. “I did not finish my current work projects yet. It has not been settled yet. During the summer, my wife came to visit me in Taiwan. I have been in frequent contact with Tim Gor and Wayne Lai!”

Wayne was extremely happy about Mr. Cheung’s return. Wayne noted, “I heard that Cheung Wah Biu will return to TVB. My dream came true!” (Are you filming Rosy Business 3?) “Tim Gor mentioned this to me. By the time the new series is released, it would be two years since No Regrets. The audience should have a fresh feeling.” (Do you feel pressure?) “I am not worried. They have fought in many ‘wars’ before. I believe there will be new material for the audience to watch!” Unfortunately, Sheren Tang did not respond to the reporter’s inquiry at the time of the news publication.

Charmaine Sheh face darkens, limelight stolen by Fala Chen

Charmaine Sheh, Fala Chen, Moses Chan, Raymond Wong and Susanna Kwan were in Hangzhou promoting for TVB series Can't Buy Me Love. Usually when promoting in HK Fala dresses conservatively, but this time in Mainland, she appears in a low-cut dress and reveals her career line. The Mainland media reported Fala 'killing power causes strong injuries' to lead actress Charmaine, who just showed her legs. Fala completely stole her limelight. It was 'maid bigger than the master lady' (referring to Fala and Charmaine roles in the series). At the event, Charmaine maintained her smile all along when other artistes were speaking, except when it was Fala's turn, she lost interest and her face darkens. Instead, she often chatted with Susanna.

Fala was asked if its because Charmaine's contract expired that she's taking the advantage to sit in the Big Sister seat? Fala looked at Charmaine as she said: "I don't dare to, don't dare to!" The day before, Kevin Cheng and Fala Chen went to Malaysia for an event. The local media was aware of Kevin's 'butt revealing' scene in Ghetto Justice, and asked if that scene was his limit? Kevin took good friend Bosco Wong's 'nude photo' incident to joke with: "If Ang Lee directed the movie, I don't mind generously revealing everything like Bosco Wong." However, later said seriously that only if necessary for the story.

It was said he has a chance to win an award for his role, former TV King, Kevin does not agree. wow, I'm surprised Kevin is filming in Mainland China again so soon..

Earlier, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) was shooting an advertisement for a bank. Director Fruit Chan (陳果) requested that Kevin appear in a cool image and even provided “Chok” props for the filming. Portraying “Law Ba” in Ghetto Justice <怒火街頭>, Kevin acted uncouthly in the commercial instead. Kevin ended up breaking several props in the process, which was quite humorous! In the commercial, Kevin urged customers to take advantage of low-interest rate loans to buy property, completing their life plans of marriage and having children.

With his upcoming birthday in Augus, Kevin joked that he was no longer young. “I have to plan for myself and prepare for the second life stage. However, it is difficult to force one’s romantic destiny. In the near-future, I have to focus on my career. I cannot accept any typical woman!”

Indicating that he was currently filming a mainland drama in Hengdian, Kevin was also busy in promoting series and films. In September, he will be holding a concert in Canada. Afterwards, Kevin will film Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭2>and extremely busy

Hey Guys,
It has been awhile .. haha :)
I wanted to wait til' the poster comes out and then talk about this series but .. it's just taking too long so I might as well rave about it now LOL
So.. I have been freakishly anticipating 'Lives Of Omission' !
I haven't seen such a dark series from TVB before, so I'm definitely looking forward. Looking at the trailers makes me so exhilarated LOL
I really like this type of series.. Its really exciting and thrilling to watch. And you guys all know I love action scenes .. LOL I don't mind blood or gore. TVB doesn't have enough modern/action drama in my opinion.. they should produce more ;)

I'm not really anticipating this series because of 'Laughing Gor' .. I just like the plot of the series in general. I'm really looking forward to see Fala as 'Jodie', awww.. its gonna be so interesting ! LOL.
I feel like Kate always play these type of roles.. I wished they cast Linda instead. I would be quite interesting for Linda to play these roles.. since she has this good girl image.

When I poster is released I'd definetly post it up.. haha
I love TVB drama posters !! Their really interesting and can really describe the series.
Anyway, enjoy the theme song !! I like the concept of introducing the characters one by one.. that was awesome.. BUT the rest of the clip kinda sucks. >:(

Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Kenny Wong, Tracy Ip, Janet Chow and the rest of the cast to TVB new series 4 In Love attended the blessing ceremony. Moses reveals this new series is about a different view of love. He said the most important is the right "feel" and "channel". Asked if he has the right feel and on the right channel with Aimee Chan? Moses laughed: "OK la!" He expressed he and Aimee are developing normally and happily.

Earlier it was said Moses was hard selling Aimee to producers to cast her in series. As Lee Tim Shing's new series coincidentally has the two of them, Moses laughed: "I don't have any power! Just a small artist, but honestly Aimee really did do very well in The War at Heart. You all are going to say I'm playing favorites!" Charmaine Sheh & Moses Chan Singapore's Most Favorite Actor & Actress

Singapore's 2nd Starhub TVB Awards 2011 was held on Saturday, July 16th. Many TVB artists including Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong, Fala Chen, Wayne Lai, Tavia Yeung, Natalie Tong, and Chilam Cheung attended. Kevin Cheng and Raymond Lam were absent. Mag Lam was the guest performer. Myolie Wu was the sexiest at the ceremony.

Although Wayne Lai lost the 'TVB Actor' Award to Moses Chan, he was arranged to perform No Regrets sub song 'Red Butterfly' live on stage, which did not disappoint fans.

The most surprising awards were King Kong and Natalie Tong's 'Most Improved Actor and Actress'. King Kong said on Weibo: "This is my first award after 10 years of being in the industry, very emotional and happy. I have to thank a lot of people, but I can't here--- thank you. Michael Tse besieged, hard to escape from getting drunk on birthday

Yesterday it was Michael Tse's birthday. His wife prepared a birthday party for him and invited his good friends Charmaine Sheh, Bosco Wong, Timmy Hung, Janet Chow, Sherming Yiu and Emily Kwan.

Michael and his wife Tina arrived in Central for the party and expressed in the last few years he had to spend his birthday through work, his wife said a rare opportunity that he has time, why not celebrate with good friends.

Michael said his friends being at his party is already a really good birthday present, asked what his wife gave? He said: "She gave me herself! Now she even gave me a whole party too!" He said excitedly: "Most important is health, otherwise even if I make a lot of money, won't have the life to spend it. (No going home without being drunk?) Not necessarily, no need for 4 people to haul me away, no need come in straight and going out side ways!"

When Michael took pictures with Charmaine, Sherming and the other female guests, the girls posed with a Chok look. Tina joked: "Laughing is not Chok, the beauties ssss were Chok!"

As for Bosco, he came alone and gave beautiful clothing to Michael as a gift. When speaking of Michael expressing he won't be leaving drunk, Bosco said: "It's okay to be drunk on his birthday! Friends, a cup for each will get him drunk!" Emily Kwan and Sherming Yiu brought champagne for Michael. As to Michael saying he won't be leaving drunk, the two said together: "It's not he doesn't want to, he must be drunk!"

Janet expressed Timmy was preparing the gift, so he was late to the party. She said they as newly weds just bought a new home, furniture and household items: "We were married first before moving into the house, we may not hold a wedding banquet this year, but will register for marriage this year. May not happen in Hong Kong though."

I haven't blabbed about TVb series for a very long time.. Just wanna update with everyone :)
I have honestly lost track on where I'm up to, so don't mind me if I'm repeating myself or anything LOL
Let me first off start saying that I haven't been watching TVB dramas to the fullest.
I seriously watch it whenever I can, it's like my back-up drama LOL
Yes Sir No sir is not the best drama, it's quite horrible in a honesty. I seriously don't take this drama seriously, I treat it like a sitcom because it's so stupid. Moses as a 'Undercover Police' is stupid. I swear, if TVB creates another 'Undercover Police' character .. D: Because it's getting overkill ! Their overusing these type of characters wayy too much. Obviously the whole 'Laughing Gor' character has influenced this ><
Such as waste of cast ! Such a good cast ruined by a bad script. Everyone has been praising Linda's 'Miss Koo' character for her great acting etc..
I'm coming close to the end for this series, and I don't find anything great about it O_O I think it's one of her worst acting to be honest. Well, its not THAT bad but it's nothing great. I have already seen that crying scene.. its really good but you know, it's just one scene that had great acting. It did not show up in other scenes.
Ron to me was more of a cameo appearance, hardly ever see him.
Overall, not the best series but I like the concept with the whole school thing LOL

mm.. ohkays. Nothing better from here coz I have literally stopped watching 'Relic of Emissary' after 2 eps. The first 2-3 eps was good, exciting and enjoyable. Then after that I lost interest. I would be forcing myself to watch it if I had to, it's quite draggy and it involves too much talking. I'm not gonna say its bad though, its just I don't have the patience ti watch any further LOL
And plus, the cast doesn't interest me especially the male cast. Not really a fan of Joe or Michael.. Quite sad how Sammual gets so less screentime, even Elanne Kwong gets more screentime than him ! :$

Be Home for Dinner, is good. You know, its just your average sitcom. It's not the best though.

I would be definitely be more enthusiastic when all the other TVB dramas are released here. These ones don't interest me at all. But lately I have been a Korean drama fan. I'm probably abit obssessed LOL. I don't wanna talk about this series AGAIN here buhh.. I AM LOVING CITY HUNTER <3 Best series ever. Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young are my new favourite couple guys.. I am VERY tempted to create a blog dedicated to them like this one :D You don't know how obssessed I am with this couple ROFLL
Such a unique love storyline ! An action packed couple but cute at the same time ;)

Charmaine Sheh waiting for love, won't sacrifice herself for money (Part 1)

Whether if it's Charmaine Sheh's love life or Myolie Wu's acting, both give people unlimited misconceptions. Just when everyone looks on the surface, these two FaDans decide to go down their own paths that they like.

Regarding Charmaine's love life, it is as thick as a telephone book, can't ever finish counting. This is all because she's always been rumored to be like a Snake, very fierce towards her 'prey' (boyfriends). Actually is Charmaine a 'leftover girl' or a 'flourishing girl'? It is not wrong for women over 30 to make a move towards love, women getting marry and having kids is a normal thing. Which woman doesn't want to find a good husband? But, deep down in her heart, she is not rushed, after all she does have a lot of capital. In fact, Charmaine is not a 'Snake', she has never been fierce for love: "When the heavens wants to send a person to you, then you can't stop it. It does not matter if he has money or not, most important is happiness! He does not have to make me happy all the time because eventually it will get tiring. Actually just as long as I see him and I smile, that is good enough!"

Won't sacrifice for money

Charmaine's rumored boyfriends include Benny Chan, Kevin Cheng, Moses Chan and even a Mainland wealthy man. The three male artists, she understands 'eat too much salty fish, must put up the thrist', but Charmaine issued a statement out when she was rumored with the Mainland wealthy man to throw away the 'third party' title. This was the time that proves she was truly upset: "This is a matter of moral perspective. First, it involves a third party and second, it involves the law. After all, I am helpless, so angered!"

Charmaine is a straightforward person, she never tell lies. Since she can already rely on herself long ago, why would she need to rely on a wealthy person? The confident Charmaine said: "I have never dated based on his wealth or profession. I have already been able work long ago, I can support myself. Since I don't need to worry about living, why would I need to sacrifice myself into such relationship? That is not logical! So, now even if I want to find someone, I want someone that I truly love! In fact, I am very relaxed, my older and younger brothers are both married. My mom has daughter-in-laws and grandchildren, she has it all, she doesn't care about me! I can do what I like to do!"

Fate is arranged by the heavens

Watching good friends in the industry getting married one after the other, even Sonija Kwok, who debuted around the same time as her got married. In Charmaine's heart, she is already prepared, once fate comes, she can't stop it: "I already knew about Sonjia's relationship last year, I am really happy for her! As for me...I know the heavens has already arranged someone for me, he may or may not have appeared, but whatever nationality he is, I don't mind. Just as long as I like him!"

Despite Charmaine not able to turn in a shining report card on her love life, but her career is like the sun at midday. Even if she's no longer a TVB biological daughter, what impact does that have on her? Charmaine said: "In fact, I never left TVB. I'm just cooperating in a different way, TVB is my maternal home. I don't have the feeling that I left at all! But, it is a fact that I am putting more time into Mainland series, and will be developing there as well as Hong Kong. I will not give up the HK market because this place is my home, but I really don't know if I will get TV Queen again or not. I already got it once before, it doesn't really matter!"

Epilogue: Can't 'Snake' Work

As the TV Queen, Charmaine has never been as lazy as a 'snake'. Working on series and interviews day and night, without any breaks, she did not complain one bit. The day during the interview, Charmaine did 4 interviews straight, didn't even have time to take a drink of water. Asked if she's tired? She said: "Yes! But, can I not do them? This is my job!"

This post is gonna be very repetitive towards yesterdays post LOL
BUT there is nothing for me to post today so better than nothing right ? Hopefully some of you guys enjoy my blabber :) HAHA
Guys, 'Ghetto Justice' is receiving ridiculous amount of praises.. like its kinda overwhelming because you really don't expect it to be such a good drama in the beginning. I guess because it wasn't super promoted before the series premiered therefore, people weren't hoping much.
Like, I have learnt NOT to anticipate anything that TVB promotes.. especially Grand Productions ! LEWL
I have watched like the first 3 episodes so far because I cannot wait any longer for it to be released in Australia, so I was like 'stuff it' might as all watch it online LOL
Honestly, It is good. And its definitely not because I got influenced by everyone and said it was good or because Kevin is in it. This drama is amazing so far. I love the comedy it has here, its not stupid comedy. I cannot wait to watch more :)
Its funny how some people are so convinced that its not Kevin's acting that is making him popular .. blah blahblah.. *sighh Its defs annoying, but its their opnion and I can't do anything about it 8)
Honestly, Sister of my Eternal Flower hasn't been released in Australia yet (dubbed ones) and I really just wanna skip this drama, and watch Ghetto Justice first. No offense to Charmaine or anything.

Yeah you can forget about the below post.. for now anyways coz not sure if anything is going to be ohkay yet :)
I am definitely glad that Kevin is gaining alot of recognition from his role 'Ghetto Justice' I can't really comment much since I haven't even watched it yet LOL
I mean, I know ALOT of bloggers out there who doesn't appreciate Kevin's acting at all.. so I'm hoping they will change their mind about it. Kevin's role in BTROC is admittedly boring and dead, so I guess he has resurrected himself in a sense :)

I necessarily don't think its true that the interesting character of 'Laughing Gor' is what made Michael Tse successful. I think without his acting, I don't think its possible.
I mean, has anyone watched VOH ? His character in there was totally comedic ! So it proves he doesn't always carry the same facial expression in every series, I think thats the character he needs to act out. But in saying that, yes, it is frustrating seeing his aggravated face with no emotion LOL
My point is, same goes to Kevin. Its a mixture of both acting and the likable character that he has in the series that made him popular :)
I cannot believe Bowie Lam was nominated for this role first. Honestly, I HATE Bowie's acting, his terrible. I don't think he would've pulled off a sly, laid-back character at all !
Felix would definitely be too stiff and awkward if he has this role.. LOL
Honestly, sequel is fine with me but a movie out of this, is kinda too much.
BUT CONGRATZ to Kevin though :):) Super happy.

Kevin Cheng Resurrects Career Due to “Law Ba” Role

Portraying a down-and-out lawyer and revealing his “quality butt” in the first episode of Ghetto Justice, Kevin Cheng’s <鄭嘉穎> career was resurrected by the role. His lucky moment may have arrived! The series peaked at 35 points in ratings. Due to the popularity of the series, TVB announced the filming of a sequel in October 2011 featuring the original cast. Ghetto Justice was a surprise hit series and TVB intended to release a film version featuring Kevin and Myolie Wu

(胡杏兒), with the addition of various film stars.

The original producer of Ghetto Justice, Tong Kei Ming (唐基明), was sought by Shaw Brothers to produce the project along with director, Chung Shue Kai (鍾樹佳). Mr. Tong also revealed that Kevin Cheng was the third choice to play “Law Ba” in Ghetto Justice. “Our first choice was Bowie Lam (林保怡), however he rejected the role to film a mainland series instead. Our second choice was Felix Wong (黃日華), who was busy performing in China and turned down the role. Finally, we considered Kevin Cheng. I was surprised by his uninhibited performance.”

Shaw Studios will produce a film version of Ghetto Justice featuring the original cast. Realizing that the box office draw of television actors may be limited, Shaw Brothers will invite mainland stars to surround Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu in the movie version, similar to the strategy employed in Turning Point < Laughing Gor之變節>. An inside source revealed, “Shaw Brothers intends to invite Zhou Xun (周迅) or Zhang Jingchu (張靜初). Among the male actors, they will ask Lau Wah (劉燁), Simon Yam (任達華), and Nick Cheung (張家輝). The big film stars will oppose Kevin’s legal team.” As to whether Zhou Xun or Lau Wah may be involved in the project, Producer Tong Kei Ming said, “Everything is still under consideration in the early stages, thus nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Ending Spoilers for “Ghetto Justice” Revealed!

Recently voted as “The Best Television Series in the 1^st Half of 2011,” Ghetto Justice <怒火街頭> aired its finale this week. Prior to the airing of the finale, spoilers revealed that Kevin Cheng’s (鄭嘉穎)“Law Ba” character will have an ultimate ending. Despite being a lawyer, Kevin broke the law, lost his legal license, and entered prison!

In the ending of Ghetto Justice, Sharon Chan’s (陳敏之) prostitute character was bashed to death by Shek Sau (石修) after discovering that he bribed a witness. Eager to bring to justice Shek Sau’s crime, Kevin willingly took a risk by tapering with the evidence of the case. Knowingly violating the law, Kevin’s legal license was disqualified. Ghetto Justice’s ending did not simply feature the suspension of Kevin’s legal license. Instead, “Law Ba” appeared in a prison uniform in the ending episode!

Difficult to Write a Sequel

Since TVB did not predict the run-away success of Ghetto Justice, the ending featured central character, “Law Ba” in prison. With the ultimate ending, the new producer of Ghetto Justice’s sequel, which will film in October, found it difficult to write a sequel. A production crew member revealed, “We want to feature the opening of the sequel with ‘Law Ba’ resuming his lawyer role and assisting clients in their cases. However, how can we justify the removal of ‘Law Ba’s’ legal license, entering prison, and resuming his old job as a lawyer? This critical point is giving the producer and scriptwriter a big headache. Currently, we are consulting a lawyer’s advice to see how to [see if perhaps there are legal loopholes].”

Hey Guys,
I have seen all of the trailers and Theme song for 'The Other Truth' released so far.
It's pretty good :D I'm looking forward to Raymond's case.. its not the typical, cliche cases you see with lawyers receiving :)
Ruco is also interesting, I'm just hoping Louise won't drag the series down too much.
Tavia's case is exciting in a way, because Aimee is the victim LOL If Aimee didn't take the part, I don't think this case would be all that good to people tobe honest LOL
I'm quite surprised that 'The Other truth' is airing some-what the same time as Ghetto Justice. Just coz both are the same idea, legal law etc.. I just thought they would space it out to create a different atmosphere but I guess not :$ BUT, in saying that The Other Truth is much more sensible and serious whilst Ghetto Justice is more laid-back.
Every one is anticipating this series so much, to be honest, its making me anticipate which is def a bad thing! LOL
I'm hoping the cases are good, honestly, every TVB law series like this are boring. The cases are so shitty and aren't intense :$ I'm hoping this one is super good :D
It's nice seeing Ruco as a male lead too, quite refreshing. Hoping this series will be somewhat a breakthrough for him coz .. all his other small roles is making me dislike him.

Kevin Cheng hands over 'LA LAW' role to Bosco Wong

Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu and Sharon Chan attended the Ghetto Justice promotional event. The cast celebrated the high ratings (30 points, peaking at 35 points). A few days ago Bosco Wong was secretly photographed fully nude in his bedroom by the paparazzi, his 'girlfriend' Myolie's mood clearly got better yesterday. Kevin expressed that the government should take care of this issue. When TVB's prohibition on the two magazines to interview their artists or appear at their events, Kevin frankly said: "This treatment is not getting to the root. In the past, after a few months, everything will go back to what it was before again. What if the secret photographs were on government officials, then what happens? Will the government view the incident differently?"

When asked if Kevin's role as "LAW BA" was replaced by Bosco? He said with interest: "I will hand it over! Honestly, I lost. Myolie and 'LO BA" (LO = Basket) really does have a lot of fate. Speaking in gentle terms, many thanks to Bosco for his huge sacrifice to help me promote this series. However, this incident really is unfair to him." Kevin supported Bosco, that artists are just like normal people when they go home. There is no need for artists to be facing audience 24 hours a day. If a normal person gets secretly photographed while changing, then it's peeping too. Kevin hopes artists' privacy is protected and not made as entertainment news, should not be an artist's pain.

As for Myolie, she appeared relaxed at the promotion. Under the request of reporters, she even took a picture with Kevin and his pretend butt. Myolie said that the unhappy events are the past and she does not want talk about it anymore. Having been in the industry for so many years, she already has an understanding of the artist-media relationship. She just hopes that nothing like this will happen again, and also it is not anything new. Asked if she's afraid she will get secretly photographed too of her changing? Myolie said the curtains in her house are always down, it will not happen to her.

Asked about Bosco's current mood? Myolie said Bosco is working and he can tolerate it. She said: "Some magazines' work as the media turns into peeping tom, using their cameras to go violate a person's privacy and think that as long as they are under the 'freedom of news' hat that they can just do anything. There is also a limit in making news, using the camera to violate a person's privacy is way over."

Sequel starting in October

Ghetto Justice is going to shoot a sequel in October with the original cast, but because producer Tong Kei Ming has already resigned, the sequel will be produced by Chan Wai Koon. Producer Tong reveals that he had plans to shoot a Ghetto Justice movie version, but TVB will have to let Kevin and Myolie make time in their schedule.

Just wanted to share with you guys all that 'Ghetto Justice' will definitely have a sequel at the end of this year. LOL, I know what your thinking.. 'It's only the third week, how is this possible' ?
This series has seriously been receiving really good ratings, and its pretty popular at the moment, especially Kevin so yeah.. It's not the series itself that will have a sequel, its more like the same cast and legal plot :)

Anyways, I didn't really wanna post just that paragraph so Let me rave at something I have been watching lately which I recommended all of you guys to watch ! :D:D
I RARELY, rave any non-TVB dramas to you guys but this is absolutely an exception!
If you guys didn't like the Korean drama that featured Lee Min Ho in 'Boys Over Flowers' or 'Personal Preference' THIS DRAMA IS THE ONE! LOL

City Hunter is by far the best drama I have ever seen in my life ! And I am only on episode 8.
This drama made me cry, made me laugh, made me on the edge of my seat. No joke guys.
This is so action packed and romantic ! I can't stress enough how in love I am with this drama LOL
And of course I can't forget the freakin' cast ! OHEMGEE, such a good cast.
I never liked Lee Min Ho, I thought his roles in Boys over flowers or Personal Preference was horrible ! Couldn't stand it. BUT, after this watching this drama I am so obsessed with him! Literally obsessed. The pictures below are some posters of City Hunter and guess what ?
